Editor
A video editor in the browser, with every Pyplex AI model inside.
Open the Editor from the Video page or at pyplex.com/editor. It works on desktop and phone.
What it can do
- Multi-track timeline: video, image, audio and text tracks.
- Cut, split and trim (select a clip, move the playhead, press W to trim the end or Q to trim the start).
- Text with styles (Heading, Hero, Subtitle, Lower third…) and animations (Scale In, Slide Up, Blur In and more).
- Transitions between clips (select a clip, double-click a transition) and effects (select a clip, double-click an effect).
- Audio with volume, fade in and fade out.
- Import your own photos, videos and music.
- Motion Design (the tab next to Video Editor): animated graphics — titles, ads, lower thirds, logo reveals — with layers, keyframes and ready-made templates.
Pyplex AI inside the Editor
- The Pyplex AI tab lists every model with search and Image / Video / Audio filters, your balance and starting prices.
- Pick a model, fill the form and press Generate — the clip lands in Media, ready for the timeline.
- My clips shows your AI results from the last 29 days.
Edits made by an AI assistant
If you ask Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant connected to Pyplex to put your clips together, it gives you an Open in Editor link. The Editor opens with everything already on the timeline — clips in order, text, music and transitions — and you can change anything before you export. Animated graphics it makes open in Motion Design the same way. The link opens only for your own Pyplex account and works for 30 days. See Use Pyplex from AI assistants.
Saving and exporting
- Projects save automatically in your browser. When you're logged in, they're also saved to your Pyplex account, so you can open them on any device from Library → Projects (or Recent projects in the Editor). The last 10 versions are kept.
- Files you add to a project (videos, photos, music) go to your account too — up to 1 GB per file and 10 GB at a time. They are deleted 3 days after upload; your project and edits stay. After that, add the file again (Media → Missing) to keep editing on another device.
- Export costs $0.10 per export, taken from your wallet — in the Video Editor and in Motion Design (videos and PNG snapshots).
- Publish template (next to Export) turns your project into a video template — see Make a video template.
