| Can users see my prompt? | No. Prompts and hidden files are never shown. |
| What does publishing cost? | An admin test charge equal to one full use of your template. |
| Do I have to connect my AI app (Claude, ChatGPT) to Pyplex every time? | No. Sign in and press Allow once. It stays connected and renews by itself unless you disconnect it or don't use it for 30 days. |
| Are my Editor projects saved? | Yes. When you're logged in, every project is saved to your account (Library → Projects) and opens on any device. Files you upload into a project are deleted 3 days after upload, so keep your own copy; the edits stay. |
| Does exporting from the Editor cost money? | Yes, $0.10 per export — in the Video Editor and in Motion Design. A template's final video is free. |
| Is there a daily limit? | Yes, $100 of spending per account per day. |
| Can I use Pyplex from Claude or ChatGPT? | Yes. Add https://pyplex.com/api/mcp/account as a connector — the same address in Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and other AI apps — and sign in once. See Use Pyplex from AI assistants. |
| Can an AI app spend my money without asking? | No. For one thing, it shows you the exact price and starts only after your yes (or your press of Generate on the Pyplex card). For a bigger job — a whole video with several images, clips and music — it first shows one plan with every paid step, its price and the total; one yes covers exactly that list. Anything not on it, or a higher price, needs a new yes. Disconnect apps any time from Dashboard → Connected apps. |
| Why does the assistant give me an upload link for my photo? | AI apps can't pass a file you attach in the chat to Pyplex. Add it on the upload page instead — it stays in your Pyplex account. |
