How pricing works
Where prices come from, when money is taken, and when it comes back.
The price you see
- Every result has one price, shown on the Generate button before you pay.
- The price is the AI model's cost plus Pyplex's margin, rounded up. On a template, the creator's fee is added on top.
- Model cards show a starting price ("from $0.04") using the model's cheapest settings. Higher resolution, longer video or more images cost more — the button updates as you change settings.
- All prices are in US dollars.
- Prices are the same when an AI assistant makes something for you through Pyplex — it shows you the exact price first and starts only after you agree.
When money moves
- When you press Generate, the price is held from your wallet.
- If the result is delivered, the held amount is charged.
- If the generation fails or can't be completed, the held amount goes back to your wallet automatically.
- Each account can spend up to $100 per day. This protects your wallet.
- A finished result is final — it isn't refunded because of style or quality, so check the model and settings first.
- Editor exports cost $0.10 each. Putting together the final video of a video template is free.
